Music is the language of angels that comes from the spirit
of man. It expresses what cannot be said with words. It is the only
art form that reaches the heart before the brain. As an artist I never
spend much time on what I have done. Most importantly is what I am
doing and what I have not done yet. This is the ingredient that keeps
it alive. Success for me happened a long time ago and it has nothing
to do with fame or money. It is in reaching a place that once was
only a far away dream. I have arrived.

Story’s Level Red V 8 G
Work
began shortly after the release of my Vigilant State CD 2004. In fact
it is a continuation. I just didn’t stop. There where many changes
in my life that effected the sound and songs of this CD. I will remember
this segment of time creating Level Red.
#1
Introduction to Level Red
I wanted to show five years of work in under four minutes . Time 3:58

2 Rush
I needed a lead song something to sum my work up, a little bit of
everything in one song. I used the drummer Rick Man and I was mixing
on the new recording console. The name Rush fit the feeling of the
movement. Life, rage, unexpected events. We live in a Rush pounding
to the pace of today. The music is a sound reflection of this event
called life. 2006 Time 4:17

3 Time Cycle
After my CD Vigilant State I needed something to take me higher. If
I was to go on with music I would need to out do my self. Things where
looking good I felt good inside. I wanted a moving song with a great
horn section to share space with the guitar. It just came together
in two weeks. Time Cycle was my ride. Winter 2005 Time 4:32

4 Field of Life
As the twelve string came alive it formed a serene foundation, a place
to reflect. I was living in what was once just a dream. I was reminded
of my life, the road to where I was now. As I looked back I realized
some one was still here beside me. I pass in the Field of Life with
a friend and lover Lorraine. The Les Paul sang for me in this moment
I celebrate our life. 1972 Time 3:07

5 Johnsong
From my first guitar notes I had a friend John Sini. He would watch
me grow into Synchrony and would cheer me on. He was my life long
friend who died holding my hand at his bedside. The next day came
this tribute song for my friend, Johnsong. 1951-2004 Time 3:15

6 Level Red
As turn of events unfold. The western world is rocked in terror alerts.
We are still fighting a war that is two thousand years old. We formulate
a color code system to tell us when it is OK to hide under our desk.
I named the CD title, but I needed a song to match it. I start at
the synth and it all come to me. I used the drummer Rick for this
one. The first sound’s to be mixed on my new Euphonix console. The
year is 2006 Time 3:53
# 7 Silent Dreams
As my life passes I find a moment to stop. I look back into all that
could have been. How many friends are now gone and how fast time moves
us along? How my life has changed and really not knowing what will
happen. Time 3:07
# 8 Rock to the City
I was playing my guitar out of the studio I just walked into bars
with the guitar and started playing this stuff one place broke out
into a bar room brawl half wanted me to keep playing half to stop.
That’s old rock n roll. I had to use it. 2005 Time 3:56

10 Red Carpet
I needed a flip side of emotion to terror. I sat at the piano and
there it was Red Carpet, It just needed me to play it. I first record
it with a drummer. But shelved it for almost one year. I kept it simple.
Piano Two Pipe Organs, horns, Strings, Three choirs, Tympani, Gong
and Cymbals. The walk down the Red Carpet was always in my head but
from medieval times, a celebration for the king. The great banquet.
Start 2006 Restart and mixed 1/ 20/2007. Time 4:05

Sonic Parade
In a high point back in 2004 the guitar ripped into a time pasted.
A time machine in the head. I went back a thousand years. A feast
a feast in the highest order. A celebration for the kingdom. Dancing
in joy from the palace to the streets. There is a birth of safety
and prosperity. A Sonic Parade is in order from the band. Time 5:43

Farewell
I was playing this tune for years on the little grand in my living
space. I would pound away and my dog would howl like a wolf. He would
sing to this song with great passion. It was life as a pack in our
den. At the end of each day we would play & howl. It was our way
of celebrating life together as a pack. When I hear this song I will
rewind to my life and time singing to my friend. The mighty Tailer
dog. 1994 - 2005 Time 5:32

Passing Point
Again the twelve string lead the way. I had to use a strong drummer
it brought me back to my rock roots in a good way. It was just in
time with the new console and I knew it would make it as my closing
song. Bobby Rondenelli drums. 2006. Time 5:15

This
was to be my last songs recorded in my under ground studio. I rushed
to the finish line to complete my work. Plans to relocate where underway.
It could be years before I return to a studio if a deal is made. From
- 1995- 2007 - I completed over fifty songs. This magic place has
taking me far beyond my early dreams. Not many could say they owned
a real music laboratory. I did and I lived within my dream.
